About

imageBorn and raised in Buffalo, New York, Shetice Jackson had a passion for cooking from a very young age.  She attended Emerson Vocational High School focusing on Culinary Arts and graduated first in her class.  Shetice went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and completed an internship at Walt Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

After graduation, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked for Emeril Lagasse's New Orleans Fish House in the MGM Grand Hotel.  Missing home, Shetice decided it was time to bring all of her great experience back to Buffalo.

While working as a Sous Chef in downtown Buffalo, Shetice wanted to further her education in the field.  She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Buffalo State in 2005.  Immediately after graduation, Shetice was appoined chef instructor of Campus House Club, an upscale restaurant and club which serves as a training facility for hospitality students at Buffalo State.

During her 9 years at Campus House, Shetice began baking as a hobby.  Instantaneously, family and friends were requesting desserts from her.  At this point, she realized she wanted to open a bakery of her own.  In 2014, she did just that, and Cake Crazy Bakery was born.

Located at 2525 William Street in Cheektowaga, Cake Crazy is a full-service bakery specializing in all occasion cakes, cookies, brownies, lemon bars, and sweet potato tarts.  We also offer over 35 flavors of cupcakes, including strawberry crunch, German chocolate, banana pudding, and chunky monkey.  Western New York has really received Cake Crazy well.  We are proud to be a part of the Western New York community.
